Team Western Connection at the 1st ever Wisconsin Interscholastic Horse Association Horse Show held in Jefferson, Wi. Sam Brown and Barely Lopin, Christina Ford and Good Goin Chex, Kelly Heise and WCR Brandy, and Nikki Hagelin helper and future exhibitor. Our team finished 3rd, behind southern schools. All girls received medals and placed in everything they were entered into. GREAT JOB GIRLS!

ANNALISE CALLAGHAN Very proud to add this girl to our show team for 2012. She is currently leasing Federally Skipin and will be showing her at the PHBA shows in 13 & under and Novice Youth events. Annalise also enjoys Hunter Jumper shows and playdays with her awesome pony Cammie!

CASSIE BULTMAN We are very proud of this girl! She came here a few years ago with her newly purchased Pinto mare Majesty and learned alot!! Her and Maj went on to win several year end awards. Her next horse was a Buckskin AQHA Colt I raised here at the Ranch WCR Ghostly Teddy, he has proved to be a challenge, but hoping he will make it to some Buckskin shows this year. Her mother bought a awesome AQHA mare that Cassie has shown in several events including Reining. Her newest adventure is the Big Red AQHA Gelding that came from The Hersoms of South Dakota. We are very excited to have Cassie and Big Red show in the new Palomino Bred Division at the PHBA shows this year!!

Maggie Nesbit has been showing lightly with us the last couple of years, but this is the year we are getting tough!. She purchased Wille Dazzle Em from us and is doing a great job with the big palomino gelding. She is riding him Western and Huntseat. She is proving to be a very serious competitor and great rider. Very excited about bigger things in 2012!

DANI POWERS This girl is what its all about!! FUN FUN FUN!!!! She has been taking lessons and helped out with trail rides last summer. She was so excited to finally be able to talk her parents into buying her best buddy at the Ranch Agustus! Dani has the biggest smile I have ever seen and I don't think she has quit smiling ever since her mom & dad said yes!! I love working with this girl and her very talented pony!! They are the perfect match! This is why I do what I do!!!

Samantha Brown has been a student at the Ranch for as long as we have been here. She was Richelle's 1st student after moving to the Ranch 7 years ago. Sam has made us all very proud. She has grown into a fine horse woman. She has won numerous trophies and awards with her horse Barely Lopin, Wille Dazzle Em, Stars Winning Skip and RB Just Plain Irish. She is planning on doing a little showing this year after being too busy with college. Look forward to seeing her in the show pen again!!

Christina Ford has been a student for many years here and has become one of my best friends! She has become quite the show girl and makes us proud. She has won the 14-18 Pleasure Horse Series High Point for 2007 & 2008. She also won a Reserve Champion in Western Pleasure at The State 4-H Show in 2007 and Grand Champion in 2008. Christina & Chex have won many Daily Highpoints and Circuit Championships everywhere they have gone. They where quite the team and tough to beat! Christina looks forward to showing her 3yr old filly this year in the new Palomino Bred Division at the PHBA shows this summer. She has done all the work on this filly and has owned her since a baby! Very proud of her and look forward to having her back in the show pen with me!! She is always alot of fun to be around.

Kelly Heise has been riding and training here for many years. She was my number one helper, but now is busy with college. Kelly and Brandy where the 2007 High-Point 14-18 year old division winners for the game show series. They excelled in many events and teamed up with Carl Oppegaard the Sr. Division winner in all the partner events. Kelly in 2009 showed Chips Tweed Jacket to a highpoint 14-18 circuit championship and also accumulated several palomino points showing Macs Gold Jewel in youth events. She has won many palomino year end awards showing a variety of horses. She even made the honor roll for PHBA with FS Hollywood Bound in 2011 only attending one weekend of shows. Her and Holly proved to be a top team. She now owns a beautiful AQHA Mare Royal Chic Flic that she shows in Pleasure events and has won numerous circuit awards and blue ribbons in a variety of events. She also has a really nice Solid Black Paint gelding that she is doing really well with in Huntseat events.

Anna Gisselman Anna has beeen here for many years. We have watched her outgrow her horse Bucky who was replaced with a beautiful registered Paint mare SS Kixx Mandy. She sold Mandy and replaced her with a really nice Buckskin AQHA Mare Authentic Indulgence "Indy". Anna has been working here when not doing Gymnastics and is a great help! Hoping to get her and Indy to some Buckskin shows!

Logan Sackett has been taking lessons and helping out here for many years and has advanced alot thru the years. Her horse is Rascals Two Roses a registered paint mare. She has been working hard with Desi and is doing very well with her in pleasure and reining.

JESSIE RASSMUSSEN She has been taking lessons here for several years with a variety of horses. Jessie has been attending the PHBA shows with us showing her moms mare TQH Startastic. She achieved numerous yearend awards in 2011 with Ellie and even made the top 5 honor roll for PHBA in several events! She is lucky enough to spend part of her winters now working for my friend Lynn Palm in Florida. She shows a beautiful AQHA "Zeke"and takes him to Florida with her. Jessie has also won several year end and circuit awards with "Zeke".
